If you feel ill, you can go to the chemist to buy cough mixture or headache pills. For more powerful drugs, you need to get a prescription form a doctor. Doctors work in surgeries and health centres. There is also a phone service, called NHS Direct. With NHS Direct you can talk to a trained nurse. Some people prefer to use alternative medicine like Chinese herbs, acupunture or osteopathy. If you exercice regulary and eat a healthy diet, you shouldn't need to use a helthcare system.

Computer are a very important part of most areas of life in Britain- libaryes, police officer and schools.They'll even control de way we live in 'smart houses' or computer-controller houses.
